These funds will be used to purchase one gift card per family—allowing residents to choose meaningful gifts and ingredients for a traditional holiday meal, without the complications of multiple smaller cards at checkout.\n🕊️ Why it matters:\nMany of our residents are far from their loved ones, their homes, and familiar traditions. Your generosity is a tangible way to reflect the love of Christ, reminding them that they are seen, valued, and not alone.\n✨ Give in someone’s honor:\nYou can also dedicate your donation as a gift to someone special by selecting “donation options” when you give.\nThis campaign is now closed. If you feel led to support our broader mission, you can give to our general operations, here.\n\nWhy do we collect money to purchase gift cards and not gifts?\nEmpowerment, community and reciprocity lay at the center of DASH Network’s core values ( https://www.dashnetwork.net/what-we-do/our-mission/ ). By equipping residents with the means to provide thoughtful gifts for one another through gift cards and home cooked meals, residents gain a sense of community, camaraderie and empowerment.\nDASH donors and volunteers do not desire to create a power dynamic where the community is divided by the people who “have” and the people who “have not,” but the DASH family strives to create a community that is unified in Christ who provides all things. \nBut when you give to those in need, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.
