A Permanent Home

Untitled design

DASH Network provides the stability of safe and dignified housing for families seeking asylum by renting various apartment homes around central Fort Worth.

However, this approach is proving less manageable and less effective for families who want to get to know their neighbors and contribute to their community.

Our hope is to build a DASH-owned facility, debt-free, to ensure the most efficient use of resources and create a deeper sense of belonging and community for these families.

The Project

2
  • A strategic location to maximize resources and streamline DASH Network’s holistic program

  • A flexible housing complex, comprised of multi-family units, that promotes community and relationships

  • Customized spaces housing ESL classes, gathering areas, supply storage, and offices to increase operational efficiency

We have identified the property at 2201 Annabelle Lane, a 6-acre expanse that is the perfect size for the new DASH complex! This property could include several four-plexes to accommodate 100 residents at a time, doubling DASH Network’s housing capacity and significantly decreasing organizational overhead.

The property will also include a small park, spaces for recreational activities, and a gathering space to host Thrive Academy classes and facilitate the emotional healing DASH residents need.

The first step toward making this dream a reality for the wonderful families at DASH is to get a zoning change approved by the City of Fort Worth, and you can help!

If you have a Fort Worth address, you can send a pre-written letter of endorsement to the city and express your support in making 2201 Annabelle Lane a permanent home for DASH Network.
