Stand with DASH 2021
This is a gala unlike anything we’ve done before!
Set at The Hills Church West Fort Campus, and with the help of incredibly talented artists and partners, DASH residents, past and present, will tell their stories of what it’s like to seek asylum in the US in ways previously unexplored.
Elle Davis, a national spoken word artist and a three-time competitor at the the Women of the World poetry Slam, will join our stage to perform spoken word using the real testimonies of DASH residents.
Bond Studio, an award winning San Francisco based storytelling studio, partnered with DASH to create a mini-documentary starring Ahmed Piro, a Kurdish asylum seeker. They have also created two short videos featuring host families and staff who talk about what it’s like to volunteer and work in this space.
Community Partners will also join us to talk about the legal, social, societal and heart-changing impact DASH Network has on DASH volunteers, staff, and residents-including the many amazing children who are part of our program.
Perhaps the most exciting part of this night will be sharing the vision God is unfolding for DASH and the opportunities we’ve recently been given for expansion and growth in both size and services. Come be a part of this amazing ministry and join hands with us as we STAND WITH DASH!
Egyptian and Kurdish desserts will be served so make sure to get there early to enjoy these treats made by Danibelle’s Lebanese Cuisine!
Register here ASAP – Space is limited!
Virtual accommodations will be made for out-of-town and immunocompromised supporters.
