Legal & Family Stabilization Fund

When stability disappears overnight…

Earlier this year, a DASH graduate and father of three attended what was expected to be a routine immigration check-in. He had followed every requirement, learned English, secured steady work, and built a life for his family. That day, he was detained. Within weeks, his family lost their primary income and now faces the painful reality of self-deportation to protect their children’s future.

In response to a rapidly changing immigration landscape, DASH Network has established a Legal & Family Stabilization Fund to support residents and graduates who are complying with the law yet facing sudden detention, job loss, or deportation through no fault of their own. Families who were stable one week can find themselves without income, legal representation, or a clear path forward the next.

This fund provides emergency legal support, rent assistance when a breadwinner is detained, help for dependents facing sudden income loss, and, when necessary, relocation or self-deportation costs so families can transition safely and with dignity. It allows DASH to respond quickly and compassionately when stability disappears overnight.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to ensure families are not left alone in moments of crisis. When systems shift unexpectedly, the Church has an opportunity to step in with wisdom, justice, and mercy. Every gift to this fund directly supports families navigating urgent and complex situations right now.
