Provide a Blessing Bag!

Hi, Munatsi here – calling all members of the DASH family! I wanted to take some time to share an incredible opportunity we have to reach out and support asylum-seeking families in our community that we aren’t currently able to reach right now.

Our team is prayerfully planning to send 1,000 care packages to asylum-seeking families who are in the earliest stages of their asylum journey to help meet basic needs and provide critical information about their new asylum journey. We are calling these packages Blessing Bags. In order to provide this relief, we need your help to raise $6,000 by April 16.

These bags will include much-needed hygiene items, information about DASH, and a legal assistance pamphlet assembled by our team and partnering immigration lawyers. These items have been carefully chosen to strategically meet the most critical needs of those who are seeking asylum.

These Blessing Bags will go directly to the sojourners who have been legally accepted into the country and are on the path to apply for asylum. It’s a long road that we pray will lead them to DASH or to another supportive community.

This is an opportunity to spread the word about DASH Network and act as a voice of hospitality and guidance during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.

You already know that we believe families seeking asylum are called to much more than mere survival, and we recognize that meeting basic needs is the first step in supporting long-term flourishing, thriving, and joy. Will you join us?
